Strandhögg v3 Plate Carrier
The FirstSpear Strandhögg v3 is the iconic FirstSpear plate carrier platform — widely fielded across U.S. military Special Operations, federal tactical units, and elite LE teams. Named for the Old Norse Viking term for a lightning raid, the Strandhögg v3 maximizes FirstSpear's 6/12 attachment technology and patented Tubes® rapid-release fasteners for easy donning and doffing. The redesigned front panel features an internal zippered admin pocket, a 4"x9" loop field for identifiers, and a second loop field along the bottom for use with the FirstSpear Admin Placard and Magazine Pocket Placard. The Instant Access Back Panel enables easier cummerbund adjustment, and both front and back panels include interior foam channels for comfort and ventilation (foam removable for streamlined wear). Front and back panels each hold soft armor plus plates of matching cut, with SAPI Cut and Swimmer Cut configurations available.
