All products sold by SpearTac Solutions carry the original manufacturer's warranty as published by the manufacturer at the time of sale. SpearTac Solutions is not a manufacturer — we are an authorized dealer working with industry-leading partners including Avon Protection, Team Wendy, Point Blank, INVISIO, FirstSpear, and others.

How to File a Warranty Claim

If a product is defective or has failed under normal use, contact us at info@spear-tac.com or (913) 284-9342. We coordinate directly with the manufacturer on your behalf to determine warranty eligibility and arrange repair, replacement, or refund per the manufacturer's terms.

To file a claim, have ready:

  • Original purchase information (PO number or invoice)
  • Product model and serial number where applicable
  • Description of the defect or failure
  • Photos documenting the issue if relevant

Ballistic Armor Service Life

Ballistic armor — soft armor panels, hard plates, and ballistic helmets — carries a manufacturer-defined service life, typically five years from date of manufacture for NIJ-certified soft armor. Use beyond the stated service life is not warranted. We recommend agencies maintain a replacement cycle aligned with NIJ guidance and individual manufacturer specifications.

What Is Not Covered

Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or modification
  • Normal wear and tear from operational deployment
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect function
  • Damage from improper storage or maintenance
  • Products altered, repaired, or serviced by unauthorized parties

Specific exclusions are governed by each manufacturer's published warranty terms. We can provide manufacturer warranty documentation prior to order on request.
